Rosslyn Park v Macclesfield

Macclesfield Director of Rugby Geoff Wappett will be hoping his side can replicate their Ealing heroics, when they travel to the capital to face Rosslyn Park in the rearranged fixture.

Blues stunned then league leaders Ealing to inflict the side’s first home defeat of the season and Wappett will hope they can do the same at Priory Lane on Saturday.

“Rosslyn (Park) are a very good side, but they haven’t had the best of times of late,” Wappett said.

“They were another side that beat us during the dark five games so we’ll be looking to set the record straight.

“They scored late into injury time to snatch the result off of us, so we will be making sure that doesn’t happen this time round.”

Blues won 40-10 against Coventry last time out, while Rosslyn Park lost 8-7 away at Wharfedale.
