ASL already has strong links with the Club and is already sponsors the Club. The respected financial management company, based in Sale, Cheshire, has long associations with the Club and is only too pleased to re-enforce its support for both rugby and the local community. Managing Director, and Club member, Ian Scott, joined ASL in 1989, having previously worked at Sun Alliance and Standard Life. His specialises in pensions, though a large part of his spare time is devoted to his other passion, rugby, and more specifically, Macclesfield Rugby Club.
ASL had been keen to extend its financial involvement with the Club for some time, and is pleased that it’s now in a position to strengthen and re-enforce its commitment to the Macclesfield Rugby Club. ASL will sponsor all the on-pitch advertising for the coming season, covering everything from corner flags and post protectors to the flags that sit on top of the posts themselves.
Commercial and General Manager, Bill Roberts, confirmed the details of the new extended deal and expressed his satisfaction that the Club has been able to build this longstanding relationship with such a respected and established North West company:
