Macclesfield Rugby Club announces the launch of a major new sponsorship deal with national law firm, DWF

MRUFC are delighted to announce the launch of a major new sponsorship deal between the Club and nationally-renowned law firm DWF Solicitors. DWF Solicitors are an established and respected national practice with offices in London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Preston and Newcastle, employing over 1400 people throughout the UK.  The leading law firm deals in all aspects of business law from corporate and commercial, private client and family law to finance and restructuring, insurance, litigation, employment and pension’s law.  DWF is also committed to the active participation and support of the local community and community projects, to help make a positive impact and build sustainable relationships.

DWF has already supported MRUFC over the course of the last year, and has now decided to increase its involvement with the Club, particularly with the Mini Junior section. Under the new sponsorship agreement, each child will receive a complimentary boot bag and water bottle, whilst the outstanding player in each age group will be awarded a DWF Man of the Match Trophy by the coaches each week. The official launch of the new deal will take place at Priory Park on Sunday 4th November where all the Mini/Junior teams will be playing competitive fixtures. Further details of the launch will appear on the Macclesfield Rugby website shortly.

Commenting on the new sponsorship deal, Macclesfield Rugby Club’s General and Commercial Manager Bill Roberts stated:

“ We are delighted that DWF have further strengthened their relationship with the Club by wishing to be associated with our highly successful Mini and Junior Section which is the envy of many Clubs not only in the region, but much further afield as well. Each season the section becomes more and more successful both in terms of trophies won and increased participation in all the age groups.”

“This unprecedented success has been recognised by DWF Solicitors, and their wish to further increase the support that they already offer to MRUFC, is testament to the hard work that all the players, coaches and volunteers bring to the Club each week. We look forward to a strong, healthy and long-term relationship with DWF, and would wholeheartedly recommend their services, knowledge legal expertise to all of our members.”

Only one result to 'round up' today, but it's a crucial 5 points for the 1st XV, who are now top of the table after Rossendale lost over at Stockport. Here Tommy Taylor (Defence Coach) gives his views on the match. The lads now head into a well-deserved break, and face Blackburn up at Ramsgreave Drive in a fortnight. Next weekend it’s all the Guinness Men's Six Nations action on the screens down at Priory Park. 🍻 🏉 tinyurl.com/MRUTV ... See MoreSee Less
