Macclesfield U13’s 54 – 0 Northwich U13’s

After dispatching Caldy “A” team 56 points to 7 in the preliminary round of the Cup Macclesfield U13’s progressed into the second round of this years Cheshire Cup with a fantastic all round performance against a good Northwich side.

A great overall team performance with the pack laying the foundations for the centres and backs to pick some great lines and run in 8 unanswered tries against a determined Northwich team who showed great team spirit to play right up to the final whistle despite the scoreline.

Champagne moment: Danny Briggs great defensive cover followed by a mazy 40 yard run straight back through the bewildered Northwich team – great stuff Danny.

Tries: Ben Sleath 2, Harry Oliver 2, Ross, Harry Harding, Zak, Harry King.

Conversions: Will Davies 7

This Sunday (17th, November) we are away at Giggleswick playing the North of England independent schools Barbarian side including one of the Macc players, Will Davies
