Ladies Lunch 2014

On Saturday 22nd March, the annual ladies lunch was in full flow with 94 glamorous ladies attending. The lunch was to raise money for the Victoria Breast Centre at Macclesfield District General Hospital. The main clubhouse room was turned pink for the day to make it more lady like and appropriate to the cause along with several bottles of pink fizz being drank.

The ladies were in good spirit throughout the day, whether that was due to the 48-21 win to Macclesfield or to the amount of pink fizz and wine being drank we will never know, although it was probably the latter. All in all, it was a fantastic day and £1478 was raised for a fantastic cause, which is almost double the amount raised last year. The benchmark has been set, and next year we hope to raise even more. Thank you to everyone who attended and donated raffle prizes to make the day such a success.

The companies which helped make the day such a success are as follows; Chair Covers North West, Chestergate Cosmetics, Fitness 4 All, Mawson Hairdressing, Mottram Hall, P.R . Jones Jewellers, Serendipity, Sevens of Macclesfield, Thornton’s, Toni & Guy, Vins De Bordeaux, The Wild Bunch Florist, Chique Boutique, Prestbury Golf Club, Trutex Shop, The Mustard Seed, The Fab Lounge, The Cheshire Premier Boot Camp, Macclesfield Golf Club, Alderley Edge Golf Club and the Aura Beauty Salon. Once again, thank you very much for your generous donations and support of the event.

This vid = How tough it is to get to a Rugby World Cup Final.

Great fun this afternoon delivering Rugby to the year 9 Girls @SandbachHigh - a tad warm but they coped brilliantly with super support from year 11 student Mille Cullen #grateful
