AVAILABLE TO CLUB MEMBERS ONLY- WORLD CUP TICKET ORDERING INFORMATION

Dear Member,

The Club are now in a position to roll out the procedure in order for you to apply for World Cup Tickets.

In the letter sent out to each Rugby Club from “England Rugby 2015 Ltd”  they are prioritisng Clubs and their members before putting the tickets on sale to the general public. However the window of opportunity to do this is relatively small so therefore if you wish to be included in this you will need to reply to this email by return stating which games and how many tickets you wish to apply for.

The total list of games at all venues are listed at the bottom of this email

Club allocation of tickets is dependant on the size of its membership so in our case we are allocated 150 members who can apply for tickets. According to the rules there must be a “fair and transparent procedure”, implemented by the Club’s Board, in selecting the members who’s contact details will then be uploaded by ourselves to the “ OFFICIAL RWC 2015 TICKETING WEBSITE”. This website will then deal with the requests directly with the member who will receive an automated email inviting them to register on the website ahead of tickets going on sale on May 16th  2014.   From then on the club will not be involved as payment and delivery of tickets etc will be dealt with directly between the member and the official ticket website.

As the games are held all over the country at different venues they are separating ordering tickets into two separate systems.

  • Firstly, of the 10 games at Twickenham the Club have been allocated a set number of tickets per game. This is relatively small so therefore the Club may have to limit applications for these.
  • Secondly, of the 38 matches held at other venues the club have been allocated a much larger number of tickets and therefore there is a better chance of fulfilling members requests.

Please remember all price categories will be available on a “first come first served basis” only.

Whichever match at any of the venues you wish to attend, you are only allowed to purchase up to a maximum of 4 tickets.

Please click here for a full list of dates and prices

IN ORDER TO BE FAIR TO ALL FULLY PAID UP MEMBERS WHO APPLY TO THE CLUB – IF THE “150 MEMBER ALLOCATION” IS OVER-SUBSCRIBED ALL REQUESTS WILL THEN GO INTO A “HAT” AND WILL BE DRAWN IN FRONT OF INDEPENDENT WITNESSES

SO IN THE FIRST INSTANCE PLEASE REGISTER  YOUR INTEREST IN PURCHASING TICKETS BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO info@maccrugby.co.uk  TOGETHER WITH YOUR NAME, WHICH GAME AND HOW MANY TICKETS YOU WOULD LIKE. The club will then check that you are a fully paid up member or honorary member (it would help us if you could quote your membership number which can be found on the back of your membership card)  before uploading your information to the World Cup Site. The categories of membership eligible are as follows:

1.       Life Members, 2.       Life Vice President, 3.       Millennium Members, 4.       Annual Members, 5.       Adult Players, 6.       Youth Players and Parents, 7.       Mini/Junior players and parents

THE CLOSING DATE FOR EMAILING THE CLUB IS 5pm ON WEDNESDAY 30th of APRIL
