Sale Sharks visit our mini and junior sides

On Sunday 7th Macclesfield RUFC Mini and Junior sides (6’s, 7’s, 8’s and 9’s) welcomed Tommy Taylor, Sam James and of course Sharky down to Priory Park.

They spent some time with the 6’s, 7’s and 8’s taking pictures, answering questions and signing shirts and boots (politely declining the request to sign a forehead!). The players, and Darren Lamon (Community Coach) then spent some time coaching the Under 9’s in their first ever contact situation.

The weather played ball, and It was great to see the look on the boys faces seeing where, hopefully, some of them might be in a few years! (Of course, we will keep the better ones at Macc!!!)
