WRU20 Update for Ticket Champions

A few updates for you all…

‘Super Saturday’ 11 June at the Academy Stadium – Tickets SOLD OUT

Whilst great for the tournament, it may not so be such good news for those still to book, but tickets are now sold out for 11th June at the Manchester Academy Stadium and it’s not possible to book any online currently.  All new ticket enquiries / group bookings can be requested to go on a waiting list by emailing Stuart.Lynd@Ticketmaster.co.uk and they will be contacted in the event that additional tickets become available.

Semis and Finals Days (Mon 20 and Sat 25 June)

It’s worth noting that irrespective of how England progress through the group stages and into the knock-outs, England’s knock-out match on Mon 20 June will be played at the Academy Stadium and on Saturday 25th June at the AJ Bell Stadium (ie. irrespective of their final placing and whether they reach the Final or not).

Outside of the above match days, school ticket sales in particular are stronger for Wednesday 15th June, largely as Tuesday 7th June falls within or just after the half-term break for many schools.

Match Day Community Pitch activity

Many of you will be aware that Dave Southern’s Rugby Development team are running a programme of girls and boys playing activity (including masterclasses in partnership with Sale Sharks Community Trust) on all five match days.  Many of these take place on the 3G pitch that we have available at each Stadium, others are taking place off-site at a local rugby club.

Trophy Tour

Thank you to everyone that has been involved in the Trophy Tour to date and for sharing photos on your social media channels.  We are just over half way through and a summary of last week’s activity can be found at http://www.englandrugby.com/ england/england-20s/news/   We are back to back again on the tour this week but do have availability (day-time only) during the half term week should you be aware of, or involved in, any half-term sports camps or similar that would be worth considering.  The trophy tour is a great way to raise the profile of the tournament and generate interest in tickets.

Hands Up for Jonny Wilkinson’s Right Boot

The touring theatre, Live Wire Theatre’s Hands Up for Jonny Wilkinson’s Right Boot performance has been really well received by schools to date.  A number of rugby clubs are hosting the performance over this weekend and throughout next week.  Tickets are still available for the penultimate performance taking place at The Dancehouse Theatre, Manchester at 20.00 on Friday 3rd June and further details available at http://www.thedancehouse.co. uk/events/2016/61-jonny- wilkinsons-right-boot

Thank you for your continued support.
