Referee Development Day – Sunday 21st August

Are you interested in refereeing? Or perhaps enhancing your knowledge on the game itself? Then this could be the perfect course for you.

England Rugby is offering an exciting opportunity for all enthusiasts, to take part in a Referee Development Day. The day will take place at Lymm Rugby Club on Sunday 21st August 2016 and should be a really good day.

Each participant will get fed and watered, funded by Cheshire RFU – and can choose from 4 modules to take part in, with an expense of just £5 per module.

Requirements

Those taking part must be aged over 14 on day 1 of the course. Participants must have completed a Level 2 refereeing 15-a-side or ELRA course in advance.

Time Session
9.30 am Arrival (tea and coffees)
9.45 am Introduction and Laws Update
10.15 – 11.45 am Session 1 module (s) ‘Understanding the game’ or ‘Tackle’
11.45 – 12.30 pm Lunch (sandwiches provided)
12.30 – 2.00 pm Session 2 module (s) ‘Scrum’ or ‘Ruck’
2.00 pm – 2.30 pm Closing remark from Paul Warrington
