It will be a quiet day on Saturday at Priory Park. No rugby! Those at a loose end may enjoy a trip down to Cambridge. As the punting season draws to a close, the Blues are looking to leap-frog Cambridge in National League 1. It’s not too late to book lunch – http://www.crufc.co.uk.
Cambridge will be remembering Cambridge, Northampton, England and British Lions scrum half, Dickie Jeeps CBE who sadly passed away recently. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
If you have any ideas about what can be cone at the club or if you have any views or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us. All ideas are welcome. It is your club.
A great display of quality rugby from both sides this Saturday as Ampthill visited Priory Park for the first time. 12 – 28 was not a shabby result considering Ampthill’s previous record.
The Lions had a comfortable win at Firwood Waterloo. 0 – 41.
The 3rd team won away against Liverpool Collegiate. 22 – 31.
The 4th team took the honours at home against Crewe & Nantwich. 50 – 12.
The Colts had a slim but deserved win at Eccles. 12 – 13.
Whilst admiring the condition of the pitches at Priory Park, paying your entrance fee on the gate, being shown to a suitable parking slot, take time to say thank to our team of tireless volunteers. Ever wondered who organises the match officials, cleans all the adult team shirts or who the 4th official is? Seek them out and buy them a beer. Our club could not operate without them.

TONIGHT! Friday 14th October see’s the Wooden Spoon Party Night at our very own Priory Park. This is going to be an amazing event with live music, a three course meal and lots more. There are still a few spaces left for the 10th October function. It’s a great way to give to the rugby charity whilst having a ball.
