In Touch 10

Last Weekend

After matching Rosslyn Park for 40 mins and leading at the break, two converted tries in quick succession on the hour put the Blues on the back foot. A fifth try clinched it for the visitors. 18-36

Another stunning win for the Lions against Sale FC with an early kick off in front of the stand. Try of the match scored by Iain Taylor, according to Iain. 50-24

A solid win for the 3rd team at home to Burnage. 36-22

The closest win yet this season for the 4th team when they visited Sandbach. 12-17

This Weekend

The Blues go south to challenge Old Albanians on Saturday looking for an away win. Good luck.

The Lions welcome Lymm to Priory Park. Our boys top the league but, only alphabetically. Preston GH also have 25 points with the same scoring points difference!

The 3rd team could jump a couple of places up the league with a win at Broughton Park

The 4th team could claim top slot by beating Congleton.

To David & Ali Marwick for bringing little Tate William to the world on Sunday weighing in at 8 ½ lbs. Mother and baby are doing very well.

Great effort from Cheekie Walker. Not sure where he was or what he had for lunch but he obviously doesn’t like beer!

Tommy Taylor

Eddie Jones has announced his 33-man squad for the Old Mutual Wealth Series against South Africa, Fiji, Argentina and Australia and he has included our very own Tommy Taylor.

Tommy will be heading off to Portugal with the squad on Sunday before returning to Pennyhill Park to prepare for the opening game against South Africa. If selected for the final matchday 23, he will be earning his second England cap. Good luck Tom!
