Ken Miller Fund

As you may now be aware, we lost Ken Miller early this year and as you all will know, Ken was a great supporter, physio and friend to a lot of us – anyone who played rugby between 1981 and very recently, will probably have had the benefit of Ken’s ‘gentle touch’. We are hoping to plant a tree or remember him so other way.

Of the £690 pledged, we have received £230 so far and we now need to consider closing the fund and using the money. If you want to contribute, please give £10 to Jonathan before the end of the year.

Mini & Junior Lunch

Save the Date! This season’s Mini & Junior lunch will be on 1st April 2017 prior to the Plymouth match. This will be exclusively for parents/guardians and coaches and promises to be a great day. More information to follow.

O’Neills Kit Sale

There will be a short sale of kit to look after the late starters. The discount code is MRUFC16 – valid from 28th October through to 13th November.

Yes it’s that time of year and Clive wants to show off his manliness again!

This Movember I’ve committed my upper lip to help change the face of men’s health. I’m growing my moustache for 30 days, and I need your support:
I’m supporting the Movember Foundation because too many men are dying too young. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide, and the Movember Foundation is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030. I want to help them get there.

Together we can create a world where no man dies of prostate cancer.

Your support would be very much appreciated

Here Tommy Taylor (Defence Coach) gives his views on the match. The lads now head into a well-deserved break, and face Blackburn up at Ramsgreave Drive in a fortnight.
