This Weekend
The Blues are off to Hull again, both teams ‘need’ to win so it should be a quite a contest. There are only two games on this Saturday in Nat 1 and the three bottom teams are all in action. If travelling, please note the early kick off time. KO 2.00pm
The Lions are off to Caldy. The last meeting ended in a home win for the Lions. Another win will put them back in top spot, a high scoring win could also be beneficial, it’s that close! KO 2.15pm
A rest day for the 3rd team.
The 4th team take a trip to Manchester to challenge Broughton Park in the cup. KO 2.15pm
The Colts game against Wilmslow has now been cancelled
Club Closed
As there are no home matches on Saturday, the club will be closed throughout the day. The Colts match arranged for Sunday has now been cancelled and therefore the club will close at 2.00pm.

LAST ONE (FOR NOW) ON WALL PLAQUES
The first plaque provides precious few clues, who are/were BRUFC….Brodlieans? Brixham? Bridlington? Was this a tour, a visiting touring side, or a first ever match against new League opposition? Seniors, juniors? Who knows? If you have any more information or background on these plaques please get in touch (via Jonathan initially) and I’ll arrange to capture their memories on video or audio.
The second one is a little more esoteric. Sassenheim, Holland formed in 1978, known as the Bassets (as in hounds), how did this one find its way onto a wall in MRUFC?
