In Touch

In Touch 25

Last Weekend

The turning point appeared to be the 2 yellow cards, we conceded 26 points whilst we were down to 13 men. At least we earned a try bonus point as confirmation that the Blues are playing better than a bottom of the league team. 59 – 28

Another rest weekend for the 2nd team.

The 3rd team suffered a surprising defeat at the hands of mid-table Burnage. 11 – 8

The 4th team had a walk over as Sandbach could not get a team together.

This Weekend

We welcome Old Albanian to Priory Park on Saturday, the Blues will be looking for revenge for the 49 – 15 defeat in St Albans. KO 3.00

The Lions head off down the M56 to Chester to try a regain their position at the top of the table. The last visit ended in a very narrow 31 – 29 defeat. KO 2.15

The 3rd team welcome Broughton Park. Smithy’s lads ran out close winners last time. KO 2.15

It should be a close game for the 4th team at Congleton, 2nd position against 4th.  KO 2.15

Mug Shots

Excellent contribution from Cammy Thomson. If you are considering a visit to The Beerhaus, make sure you take your casino winnings with you, $9 a pint!!

New Mugs

No, not giant hands but small mugs!

The ½ pint mugs have arrived and are available this weekend. We expect to receive photos from school lunch breaks and Sunday lunches with the mug brimming with fizzy pop or at the hairdressers filled with Prosecco.

Good job we didn’t have a home match last Saturday!

Under 14

The Under 14s won this inaugural tournament on Sunday, winning their group convincingly from Wrexham and Bishops Castle.

A tough semi-final win against Newtown saw the boys into the final against Warrington which they won playing with style, tenacity in defence and a desire that they were not going to return to Priory Park without the trophy.
