Last Weekend

Just one match last Saturday as the 3rd team travelled to Birkenhead Park to conclude their season. They didn’t need to win and they……. didn’t. 45 – 15

The boys finished in third position in the Sale Sharks Division 1 and will look forward to promotion to the new Championship for next season.

Well done!

This Weekend

Hartpury College await the arrival of the Blues this Saturday and judging by current form the students could be in for a shock with a dent in their 100% armour. 2.30pm KO

The Lions conclude their season with an early home start against Fylde. This is not a ‘Dead Rubber’ as Fylde could jump a couple of places with the right result. Fred’s boys will want to finish the season with a flourish in front of a strong crowd. Pies will be available from 12.45am, beer will be available all afternoon. 1.00pm KO

No match for the recently promoted 3rd team.

No match for the 4th team either but, they will be watching out for results from others in their league. There is still a chance that Congleton could push them out of the promotion zone!

British & Irish Lions Competition

Thanks for the entries into the Lions competition, there are a couple of strong contenders but we will not know the winner until the first test.

Good Luck!

Only one result to 'round up' today, but it's a crucial 5 points for the 1st XV, who are now top of the table after Rossendale lost over at Stockport. Here Tommy Taylor (Defence Coach) gives his views on the match. The lads now head into a well-deserved break, and face Blackburn up at Ramsgreave Drive in a fortnight. Next weekend it’s all the Guinness Men's Six Nations action on the screens down at Priory Park. 🍻 🏉 tinyurl.com/MRUTV ... See MoreSee Less
