Sharks Community Trust  Launch Easter Holidays 2018 Rugby Development Camps at Macclesfield RUFC

Sharks Community Trust are delighted to announce details of the Easter Holidays 2018 Two Day Rugby Development Camp at Macclesfield RUFC.

Darren Lamon, Rugby Development Officer who manages the rugby camps said: “2018 has been a fantastic year for Sharks Community Trust Rugby Camps and its award-winning coaches. Players from across the North West and beyond have been attending our camps for the first time and many more returning, developing their rugby skills, having fun, meeting Sale Sharks players and the opportunity create new friendships. A personal highlight of the department has been the amount of money given back to the clubs who have hosted Sale Sharks, each club for reaching 30 – 35 camp attendees receives 10% of the total revenue generated, hearing stories on how this money has supported grassroots rugby, either through new equipment, contributing to mini & junior coaches continuous personal develop (CPD), new kits, funding for tours or new players memberships has been inspiring”.

“Our Easter Holiday camps have always been very popular and we are looking forward to welcoming more players on our camp at Macclesfield RUFC, for what will be a great couple of days rugby.”

Our award winning Sale Sharks Community team aims to meet the development needs of players aged 6 – 12 (U7-U12) & 13 – 16 (U13 – U17) including both boys and girls.

New for 2017/18 season our rugby development camps are specifically designed around RFU Age Grade Codes of Practise and our coaching philosophy:

A coaching philosophy which is delivered by the Sale Sharks Academy.
