Under 6’s rugby 2018/19

Macclesfield RUFC has a thriving Mini and Junior rugby section, and most start from U6’s including such names as Matt Thorpe, Joe Palmer, Tom Burden, Sam Moss, Billy Robinson (all Macclesfield 1st XV), Tommy Taylor (Sale Sharks, Wasps and England), Will Addison (Macclesfield, Sharks, England U20, Ulster).

We welcome boys and girls who will be 5 on or after 31st August 2018 of all abilities, shapes and sizes.  Your child will be coached in a “kids first” rugby club, fully inclusive environment with all kids offered the opportunity to develop their core skills.  At Under 6’s they will learn core skills such as running, passing, evasion, teamwork and of course scoring tries.  The main aim at U6s is plenty of FUN FUN FUN

The core values of the game are instilled from day 1 (Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sportsmanship) and the club will be seeking to train a coaching team through various levels from Rugby Ready through to UKCC Level 2 (and beyond).

The season will commence on Sunday 2nd September 2018 at 10:00 AM on the Astro Turf at Macclesfield RUFC.  To register your player please complete This form and send to phil@philmason.co.uk.  Further details will be sent nearer the time however if you need more information have a look on the U6 web page.
