Five Macclesfield colts play for Cheshire U18’s

Pictured are 5 players from this years Colts team who played for Cheshire last week. The Oliver twins, Harry Harding and Toby Moule have all played together in the Mini & Junior section for over 10 years, with Marcus Pyle joining 2 seasons ago. Moule plays at Kings Macc with the other 4 players at Wilmslow High School.

They will meet each other when Wilmslow host Kings Macclesfield in the Cheshire School Cup quarter final on Wednesday 14th November

In winning the game the Macc lads featured on the scorecard James scored two tries on the night and Marcus Pyle 1 try with Harry Oliver successfully converting on 6 occasions.

Cheshire U18’s play next against Lancashire in a few weeks, so fingers crossed for the same representation. Oliver (x2), Harding and Pyle trained with last seasons Cheshire U20’s and have been invited back again this year to be part of the squad, fantastic achievement considering they are all just 17 years old

Great example of home grown talent coming through the ranks, how long before they make their first team debut ?

"I still think Leinster have the best attacking shape in world rugby!" "Leinster will pick some holes in that performance but they'll be thrilled to be in back to back finals." A ruthless performance from Leinster, Newcastle awaits.
