Clubman: Sunshine and mixed results
A day of very warm autumn sunshine and high temperatures saw mixed results for the four senior sides.
The first team travelled to Ilkley for a really good win and garnered a bonus point for 5 tries, this made it back to back wins and lifts us to top four of the Northern Premiership.
Macclesfield Fourth struggle in the Sunshine
Macc motored across to Edale, motoring is a very apt expression, Jim Welch and Simon Street in their open-topped, suped-up sports cars, these vehicles so short of comfort space there was barely room for the holdall of team uniform shirts and shorts.
