Sandal vs Macclesfield – 19/10/2019
A clash between 4th and 5th in the table occurred on Saturday in Wakefield, as Macclesfield travelled to take on Sandal.

The team travelled to the Mersey flood plain and outplayed Burnage on a very heavy pitch with a comprehensive second half performance.
We regret to announce the passing of George Lewis
It is with great sadness that the club must announce the recent passing of George Lewis. We all owe a huge debt of gratitude to George, who way back in the 1970/71 season, had the foresight to start `Mini Rugby` at Macclesfield RUFC, ably assisted by wife Mary and young daughters Rhian & Bethan, whilst sons Gwynne & Rhys played rugby.
