Macclesfield Rugby Club is looking to appoint a Finance Director following the retirement of the present incumbent after seven years in the role. This is an executive role on the management team and carries responsibility for the financial affairs of the rugby club. The role is voluntary and unpaid but contributes significantly to a fantastic community enterprise.
Macclesfield Rugby Club has approximately 600 members. The Club has five senior teams including a Women’s team. The Junior Club is represented at every age group from under six through to senior colts and has an enviable reputation for high quality coaching. The first team is semi-professional and plays at level 5 in English Rugby. The club is developing a healthy touch rugby section and walking rugby and has ambitions to further develop girl’s rugby in the future.
The executive team aim to deliver a Happy, Successful and Sustainable Rugby Club in the heart of the community and to create a vibrant commercial enterprise to fund investment in the growth and development of the club both on and off the field of play.
