Wooden Spoon Event – 4th April

Wooden Spoon Manchester and Cheshire are delighted to invite you to the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Nunshigum 1944 Dinner.

Date: Saturday 4th April 2020
Venue: Macclesfield Masonic Hall
Price: £30.00

This dinner has been organised by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards North West Association to commemorate the battle of Nunshigum 1944. In the closing years of World War II the Scots DG fought battles around Imphal and in Northern Burma.

The regiment has a very strong rugby tradition and boasts several international players, including Semesa Rokodunguni (Bath and England).

The tenants and principals of both military life and rugby being very similar choosing to raise funds for Wooden Spoon was an easy choice to make.

To purchase tickets or for more information on this event please contact Gary Crosbie at or phone 07914 423923

This fundraising event is being held in aid of Wooden Spoon, the children’s charity of rugby.
