More Than Rugby – HUNTERS GIN

Co-owner and founder of Hunters Cheshire Gin, Louis Smith, has played at Macclesfield Rugby Club for many years since U6s, and stayed with the Club right the way through to adult rugby. Louis now takes the field, from time to time, with the successful 4th XV.

As well as playing, Louis, along with Jim Curtis, dedicates his time offering valuable food and beverage advice to the Club. Louis has also sponsored dinners and rugby tours through the Hunters Gin brand. General Manager, Andy Appleyard, is very thankful of the association: “Louis’s advice around food and beverage at the Club has been much appreciated and has allowed us to sharpen our service, improve payment options, update our bars and create a clear development plan to keep improving and staying ahead of the curve”.

Hunters Cheshire Gin is a smooth and refreshing London Dry Gin at 43.3 % export strength.  Hunters use Cheshire Apples as a key botanical to add even more citrus alongside Seville Oranges and Lemons. Hunters say that they have had some great success and fun over the last 10 years and that the gin can be bought from Majestic/Coop and selected Morrisons stores and many online retailers.

They have developed some optic bottles for the pub part of the business and due to the current Covid 19 situation now have some litre optic bottles for sale for MEMBERS ONLY. Hunters will donate 10% of all sales to the Club.

Litre Optic Discount Members Price £32.50  –   Normal RRP £40.00

Simply contact: Louis@Huntersgin.com – 077173134328

They will get in touch, send you a payment link and deliver the gin direct to your door within the Cheshire area.

“Thank you for supporting a local company and I know you will love the gin. I can’t wait to have a Hunters watching some rugby at Priory Park very soon” Louis Smith
