Nigel Rosser RIP

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Nigel Rosser. For many seasons Nigel was a permanent fixture at Macclesfield Rugby Club, easily identified by his extravagant moustache and a pint of ale in his hand.

Although he never played rugby at Macclesfield, Nigel was the Dad of Martin Rosser, who played many seasons for the Club, and Amanda Keogh, one of our loyal and wonderful Bar Staff. Amanda now plays rugby for our Ladies and her 2 sons Hayden and Austin play in the Mini/Junior Section.

Nigel was a great supporter of the Club and recently took on the important role of `Meeting and Greeting` to our visiting rugby club opposition guests.

I`m sure you`d all like to join us, as we pass on our sincere condolences to Nigel’s family and to assure them, that he will be missed by all his many friends at the Club.
