Reality TV star, Retired International and Jacko all help to draw the One Club

Under the watchful eye of local minor celebrity Nick Smith (not that one but the one who is always injured) who kindly broker away from his busy filming schedule to oversee the draw. Nick has now embarked on a career in TV after realising his ambition to play rugby for Macc 2nds was cruely shattered after getting thumped defending Boz’s honour against a rough Vale of Lune team. After considerable surgery Nicks face has been restored and the TV crew are back filming his good side again, the back.

He was joined by local Research Scientist, the 6ft 7in pothole lay down specialist Paul J Thunderpants who recently trained with the GB badminton team before they headed off to the European championships in Spain, a little known fact is the Paul “The Pothole” did represent GB at the 1992 Commonwealth games as a mixed double in the sport. And I quote “I realised that I could stand at the net holding me bat in the air and the little fellas playing against me were so small they couldn’t hit the cock over me head” unfortunately Paul was knocked out in the group stages without winning a game. And Jacko helped out too, excited as every to be in suck illustrious company

Only one result to 'round up' today, but it's a crucial 5 points for the 1st XV, who are now top of the table after Rossendale lost over at Stockport. Here Tommy Taylor (Defence Coach) gives his views on the match. The lads now head into a well-deserved break, and face Blackburn up at Ramsgreave Drive in a fortnight. Next weekend it’s all the Guinness Men's Six Nations action on the screens down at Priory Park. 🍻 🏉 tinyurl.com/MRUTV ... See MoreSee Less
