One Club Draw

The latest One Club Draw was completed by Terry Robson on the occasion of his 100th Birthday part at the club on Sunday, this was a lovely occasion only slightly ruined by Wilky making a speech that was more about him that the elderly Birthday Boy.

For those of you who didn’t know Terry was a very average rugby player, a poor referee and a superb drinking member / Tourist of the club, in fact some say his best period on the pitch was when he was the 4th official and he used to hold up pieces of paper randomly and sub on members of the crowd.

A little known fact about El Tel is that he has run over 100 marathons, nearly as many as Paul “26Miles” Underhill who was selected for the 1982 commonwealth games only for his games to be ruined by endless ingrowing toenails and lack of ability.

Anyway the winners of the draw:

March 2022

£100 Stephen Branch (Chairman)
£75 J Morrell
£50 Paul Hughes
£25 Charlie Harper
£25 Sam Moss

April 2022

£75 Vicky Brierley
£50 Pete White
£25 Gavin Faulkner
£25 Brian Willis
