Sadly, we have to announce the passing of another of the Macclesfield Rugby Club Family. Josie Wright, wife of Honorary Life Member and former player Chris, passed away peacefully on December 23rd following a long battle with illness. Josie and Chris have been part of the Macclesfield Rugby Family for well over 60 years and Josie was mum to ex-player Andy, and mother-in-law to another former player Dougie Brown. As well as son Andy, Josie leaves 2 daughters, Louise and Claire.
Our thoughts are with Chris and the family at this difficult time.
Josie`s funeral takes place at Macclesfield Crematorium on Thursday 19th January.
