Important update for the ONE CLUB BALL

After consulting with a number of people from different areas of the membership the management have made the decision to change the date for the One Club Ball. As many of you already know originally we were forced to move out chosen date of the 13th of May to the 6th of May due to the Beer Festivals late change of mind. This put us in a position to only have 1 date available to use the Marquee.

Since releasing the 6th of May date we have had a number of members book tickets, but the lack of sales compared to previous years pressed us to find out why. As we thought the King’s coronation and now the possibility that the on form 1st XV will reach the National Cup Final are both big factors in members lack of commitment to the event.

From this we have made the decision to move the One Club Ball to the 27th of May 2023, this will mean the event will be run in the club house rather than the marquee. The event will still host all the fun we had planned for the previous date, just a slight change of scenery. Hopefully all who were committed and now many more will attend the new date of 27th May 2023.

One benefit of the change will be that our ticket price will be reduced from £39 to £30 per person. Now we are inside it has also enabled us to change the menu so we will be announcing the changes at the end of this week.

For those of you who have booked for the 6th of May we will offer a full refunds if you are unable to attend the new date, if you are still able to attend we will refund the £9 respective. Please let us know your situation by email to

If you haven’t already got tickets please see below the link to book, as there is a lower capacity limit, we recommend you book ASAP to avoid disappointment.
