Notice of Annual General Meeting 2023

This is formal advice, that in accordance with the current Rules of Macclesfield R.U.F.C. Ltd., the Annual General Meeting of the Club will take place at the Clubhouse, Priory Park, on Thursday 25th May at 8.15p.m.

Any other businessProposal to amend Rule 8 of the Rules of Macclesfield Rugby Football Club Ltd to explicitly permit Annual General Meetings and Special General Meetings to be also be available live on Zoom and to permit voting members joining the meeting by Zoom to vote on motions at the meeting.

Notes:

  • Only full members of the club (appropriate subscription paid for the 2022 – 2023 season) are entitled to vote on matters considered at the AGM.
  • Nominations (with a second) for Executive Officer positions were received in writing by the secretary (Bob Cooke – chevalliercooke@gmail.com) in accordance with the rules of the club by 30th April 2023.
  • Members should forward questions in writing to the secretary at least 48 hours before the meeting.
  • The minutes from the 2022 meeting and Financial statement 2021/2022 will be available at the meeting and in the meantime will be displayed on the Club website until the meeting.
