When I wrote to you before Christmas I told you that I was intending to make some changes to the membership of the Executive Committee of the club. I am very pleased to announce that I have made the first of those changes.
Amber Owens has agreed to join the Executive Committee from January 2024, she will bring a huge amount of financial expertise and commercial experience to the Committee. Amber is the Commercial Division Finance Director of The Emerson Group, she joined Emerson Group after many years in Senior Management roles in well established businesses. Amber has been involved in the club for many years, her son Harry Owens is a part of the first team squad and her husband Shane has been both a player, safeguarding officer and a coach at the club – so Amber has done her time stood on the touchline supporting! Amber is an ex-Kings School pupil and has great links with the school.
Amber will be the first female member of the Executive Committee and will help shape the club for the future.
I look forward to welcoming her to the Executive Committee.
