Macclesfield RUFC Proudly Present The November 2020 Virtual Family Race Night! 

Your host Franky Barker will take you on a virtual journey with a fun-filled night of races, interviews, raffles, and much more. 

There will be 8 exciting races held at the virtual Priory Park Race Course, each race will star 8 virtual horses competing for the prize. 

We have 50 tickets available so please act fast to secure your spot. 

Tickets cost £3 and then you will be able to select your betting kitty for the night 

£10, £20, £30, £40, £50, etc up to £100

The event will be hosted on an online meeting app, once you buy your ticket we will add you to the MRUFC Family Race Night Whats App Group. This is where we will then communicate any important information including your invite link to the event, on the night we will use the group to take your bets so it is recommended you have a screen to watch the event and your phone free to bet.

Own a race – Own and name the race – have your name in lights or come up with something funny!
There will be 8 race so we are also selling sponsorship to own a race £20 donation

Own a Horse – Become a horse owner and then back your horse to victory!
Each race has 8 horses, own a horse for £10 donation (name it if you wish) 

Be a Jockey – you can still be in the mix for a little donation – use your name or think of something funny!

“The Bookie” – Our Bookie for the night will be Math Teacher James Cross AKA BET3Cross5 – He will run an Online sheet which will display all bets and your kitty balance, this will update through the night keeping everything transparent.

Like any race night, it’s a bit of fun whilst at the same time supporting our beloved club during a tough time for all: 50% of all bets will go to the club leaving 50% of all bets to be split between the winners of the race.

To be fair and legal – we will take bets running up to the race then all bets will close. A member of the audience will then select a number at random from our library of races. We will then play the random race so no one has any advantage whilst betting is open. It’s all potluck, but very fun! BET3Cross5 and his magic sheet will then work out the winnings which will be added to your kitty. 

At the end of the night, we transfer all of the outstanding winnings to our lucky punters’ accounts.
