Sunday Mornings at the club you will often find upwards of 500 children engaged in Mini and YouthRugby. From the U6s, getting used to the game, the U9s getting to grips with ‘First Contact’, on to U12s Youth Rugby and beyond, as the boys prepare for the senior game. The section is open to all, and in true rugby spirit, there is a game for all shapes and sizes. Coaches also range in shape and size with a variety of skill mixes from current and former players, to Dad’s with no playing experience; however, through the Club’s commitment to the section, many are now qualified to ERCC Level 2.

All coaches and volunteers are DBS accredited, and we have first aid cover for all age groups meaning your children can train and play in a safe and friendly environment.

Friendly matches are played in the Mini section against competitors from all over Cheshire and Lancashire, and the Junior section also enters the Cup competitions. Whether it’s home or away matches, training, or tours one thing can be said of the whole section; without exception, they are exemplars of the Core Values of Rugby and are a true asset to the Club.

The section also has a thriving social scene with touring sides traveling throughout the UK and abroad, and a great range of quiz nights and race nights.

For information on joining take a look at the individual age groups pages or contact phil@philmason.co.uk
