Under the rules of MRUFC we are obliged to hold our AGM before the 31st May each year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and consequent lockdown the Club will realistically be unable to hold its AGM by this date. The Executive Committee have decided that the AGM will therefore, be postponed until later in the year when the current crisis has ended. Appropriate notice will be given in advance to all members of the new date.
The AGM is usually a forum where members are able to raise queries and ask questions of the Executive Committee of the Club. Despite the postponement of the AGM, if any club member wishes to raise any matter, or ask any questions of the Executive Committee, please email Bob Cooke, Club Secretary at chevalliercooke@gmail.com with your questions and these will be dealt with, and a response given, as quickly as possible.
We all hope that the current Pandemic and the challenges that it presents to all of us is resolved as soon as it is possible to do so and that we may all meet again and enjoy rugby and each other’s company once again. In the meantime, we hope you and your families stay safe.
